city centre, and is approximately a 15-minute taxi ride from the
airport which will cost around €15-16. A half-hourly airport
bus can take passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station located in
the centre of Florence - A single ticket is €6. Prices are
subject to change.
Getting around : The centre of Florence is easily
explored on foot. The city centre has traffic restrictions and parking
can be pricey. Local buses are regular in the city centre and tickets
can be bought at vending machines. They are sold on a one-hour,
two-hour or 24-hour basis. Taxis can be found outside the central
Santa Maria Novella Station.
